OHPPBT 2012 Membership Information. Closes Soon!
OHPPBT is now taking new members for the 2012 season.
Old Hickory Percy Priest Bass Tournament (OHPPBT) has a few open spots available. We will keep the open enrollment for new and returning members through the 2012 Fishing Show at the TN State Fairgrounds.
We will be located at the Academy Sports & Outdoors booth. The OHPPBT Membership fee is $25.00 for the year. Click the big red "Membership Form Click Here" button on the right side of the front page on our web site www.ohppbt.com then print the form and mail it in with your check. you can also bring the form to the fishing show.
We will not have another membership meeting for new and returning members as planned due to the Fairgrounds Fishing Show is a couple weeks later than normal. We had planned for one but our schedule, the fishing show & my work schedule make this not possible. I would ask for ALL NEW & RETURNING MEMBERS to print off an updated rules & regulations from this site to familiarize themselves with the 2012 updates. I would also request that all new members take time to call me (Brad) over the next few weeks if you were NOT at the meeting we had at the TWRA Offices. Thanks and I look forward to seeing you at the Fairgrounds Fishing Show. (615) 497-7373

Ronnie Campbell will be our back up helper if someone is out sick or on vacation and will blast off every 3rd event like the rest of the workers that are boaters. Detroit Brown will walk around and look like he is working, we are trying to get him to relax @ 74 years young (LOL). Josh Dady will be pulling the tournament trailer to events and run the scales. Brad (The Director) will announce the weights, make short fish calls, any other house keeping items, and do the general day to day operations and handle all other items with sponsors and the web site.

James Victory will be having a parking lot type tournament for OHPPBT Members & guests only Saturday January 28th 2012 at Long Hunter State Park. We will start the sign up around 7:30am and end around the 8:00am Start Time.
During the 2012 Fish Off we will be giving out a 7 day all inclusive Stay at a Mexican 4 Diamond Beach Front Resort. The Royal in Playa Del Carmen. We will also be giving away a 2012 Model Power Pole during the Fish Off. These are in addition to all of the same type prizes we gave out in 2011. Last year we gave out around $37500.00 in $$$ and prizes just at the Fish OFF! This is in addition to the prize money and the 35 or so door prizes that we give out at our regular tournaments. Don't wait or the spots will all be full. Every year 40-50 people try to sign up later in the year. Don't be one of the people who wish they would have joined us.

Dayton Wauford Jr. & Eric Walls were catching up to the top spots but there was not enough season left to make it. They ended up in 3rd place for the year. The Points Standings for 2011 have been posted and updated.

Old Hickory Lake @ Cedar Creek Marina Tournament Info.OHPPBT will be having our last Regular Points Tournament for the year on Old Hickory Lake and for the regular season in general. We will be @ Cedar Creek Marina this Saturday from 6:30am to 2 pm. We will start the sign up between 5-5:15am. We will stop the sign up at 6:20am. We will blast off at 6:30am and your chip must be in the bucket by 2.00pm. We will have a set of Premium Lower Bowl Predators Tickets for this Saturday Night. Please call Brad with any questions. Please do not call me after 9pm the night before a tournament. You may call me as early as 4am the morning of a tournament. We are also proud to have contracted a very reputable Polygraph (Lie Detector) Testing Technician form local law enforcement for our fish off as usual. As an added extra level of precaution I have also gotten 5 volunteer (boats in various types of boats, pleasure boats, fishing boats and pontoons) to help keep an eye on our anglers during the fish off for 2011. I don’t have any reason to think there would be any issues, but it is just another precaution to help us maintain integrity for all of the OHPPBT Members. We have gotten a great group of core members for the 2011 season. The last 3 tournaments have been great with a lot of fun and friends fishing and visiting without the drama. It makes it fun for all of us and I appreciate all of you who make this possible. With that said, we will have a limited number of new mwmbers we will accept for the 2012 season. I will have our 2012 Schedule and information available at the 2011 Fish Off in a few weeks.
